Roses are a crowd-favourite, and we recommend asking for fragrant varieties for a special touch. You can choose a bouquet with mixed varieties of flowers, or opt for a single mass display of roses for an understated but beautiful impact.

If it is for a significant milestone, opt for a more extravagant size than usual.

If you are meeting someone for the first time, and have not had much interaction with them, we say leave the flowers for a few dates ahead.

If you have seen your romantic interest a handful of times and want to set your intentions - then this is the perfect moment to send them some lovely florals.

We recommend sending a classic sized bouquet, or an elegant wrap of roses in pink, yellow or white (save red for a more formal setting!).

Consider the Location:

If you are going to pick up your date and take them on a Sunday picnic, a classic bouquet or a single-species wrap of tulips is ideal.

For a formal setting, like an intimate fine dining spot, pick a more classic and elegant presentation - a monochromatic bouquet, or a bold and dramatic bouquet of long-stemmed roses mixed with baby spray roses.

If you are sending flowers to their home, choose one of our Signature Pavé Boxes or a single species wrap, and pair together with a charming message from the heart.

Delivery Location: When you are first getting to know someone, it may be deemed inappropriate to send flowers to their workplace. Best practice is to send flowers to their home, or to deliver it yourself in person.

Timely Ordering: Whilst we do offer next-day delivery, you can order your flowers months in advance with us. For custom arrangements or deliveries during peak holidays like Valentine's Day & Mother's Day, ordering in advance is always a good idea.

Provide Accurate Delivery Details: Ensure that you provide us with:

• Your name and mobile number so that we can send you updates on the day.
• Recipient's name and mobile number in case we need to coordinate delivery

Floratique Florals handwrites all messages on our own branded note cards, or on our selected range of note cards from Bespoke Letterpress if you choose to purchase them. All cards are delivered sealed to ensure privacy.

If you would like to write your own message in private, we advise that you either collect the flowers from us in Canley Heights, or have us deliver to your address on your chosen day and we will provide you with a blank note card along with the flowers.
